This is the only picture I have ever seen of this tornado, it was measured to be 2 in a half miles wide, and broke the windspeed record at 318 mph - it was an F5. If it had gone to be 319 mph, it would have made it to be an F6! the first in history!

Ken Fugate, who has been a chaser for quite some time, came up with the idea for this website, and Mike Mezule (another chaser) created it. I have since sent in my biography and picture but it has not yet been put up...

Gene's site is absolutely fantastic with his pictures of storms, tornadoes, various anomolies, but especially lightning! I met Gene years ago through email who then introduced me to his other 2 friends Carson Eads, and Tim Marshall, along with his wife Karen Rhoden whome I met at the TESSA meeting in 2004. Gene is actually the one who got me into storm-chasing...
