More info

For starters I was born in Oklahoma, but moved to Holland, MI when I was 4 yrs. of age, and then moved here to Allen, TX when I was 7. By the age of four I was 100 percent certain that I wanted to and would become a doctor when I was older, and thought that destiny had been sealed. To my surprise it didn't turn out that way...although I did end up being pre-med (microbiology/virology) for a little while, I did a 180 degree turn into computers and meteorology.  Not to mention a small career in acting! as of November 2004, I am a member of the Skywarn weather team of Texas, as well as a professional storm-chaser now. I am also happy to say that it looks like I will be getting yet another degree in meteorology along with several other friends of mine I have known for years who are also storm-chasers, which include my good friend Scott Peake, Gene Rhoden & Carson Eads whome I met quite a few years back, Gene's new wife Karen, and the head honcho - Tim Marshal! Gene & Tim can be seen on TV sometimes, if a weather show or the news airs. And if you ever get the chance to buy and watch the Tim Marshal collection on DVD I highly recomend it! His DVDs also include other members of skywarn (hopefully Scott & I will end up on some of them one day as well...lol), as well as a live taping of the Ft. Worth and Oklahoma City tornadoes.

Putting metorology aside for the moment, I am going to switch gears here for a while to talk about some other stuff, which will include frequently asked questions. The first which is a list of hobbies I have (the most frequently asked question of all). This question is actually part of the reason I created this site, because the list is a bit long so I prefer to tell people to just "go to the site!" Anyway, a list of hobbies - here goes: surfing & other water sports, music (my biggest hobbie of all), art, science, philosophy, the Ufology & paranormal (I do have a healthy sense of skeptisism however), archery - particularly the crossbow, going to the gun range, fencing, Martial Arts - I've taken Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, Mu Ti, & Akido, meteorology & storm-chasing, reading, studying general medicine - especially microbiology & neurology, acting, meeting new people, going to clubs, hanging out with friends, fast cars (my next car - a black Jeep Wrangler), motorcycles, biking, the outdoors, hiking & exploring, road trips, sci-fi/horror, Star Trek, X-Files, Smallville, Incredible Hulk, Bill Bixby, George Peppard, playing my guitar, golf, hockey, soccer, la crosse, he Improv (a comedy club), quantum physics/mechanics, T.A.P. TEN - Temporal Accelarater Project, Boston Legal, and last but not least...computers!

There! I hope that satisfies your curiosity for the time being. Once again, I am going to switch gears toward music. Music has always been the highlight of my life, and I simply cannot go anywhere or do anything (including sleep) without it! I got my very first drum set when I was four, and also own a keyboard + 2 guitars. My ex-boyfriend's younger brother Davin and I have known each other since we were highschool freshman, and he is also a muscian who plays lead giutar in a band called Subreality...which is really cool because we all got togather quite a few years back and turned his father's new shed into a recording studia equipped with computers, synthesizers, drumset, a soundproof room, not to mention all kinds of guitars hanging on the walls as decorations! so to say the least, IT ROCKS! recently I even did the sound effects for the new album which was fun. Ive been in a couple bands in the past myself, but right now I just don't have the time it takes to go to practice and stuff, but I am sure I'll be picking it back up in the future. The first band was a semi-classic rock/modern rock band called "Shattered" which included another good friend of mine Christopher Fournia - lead vocals/guitar, myself - back-up vocals/guitar, Jason Hensley - bass guitar, and Zach Maytan - drums. The second band I was in consisted or myself - lead guitar/back vocals, and one of my best friends as well as my roomate at the time - John Chitwood - lead vocals/bass guitar. We never really got to finish putting that one togather because we were both working togather as Private Investigators for a company called Native Spirit Investigations. However, earlier this year John left the company, got married, and is about to move to east Texas....and since he was the CEO the company sort of fell apart without him. So once again, I am looking for a second job currently at Heard Museum with Scott whome is my storm-chasing "teammate" so to speak.

Last but not least, you will find below a list of musicians I often listen to...which includes genres such as classic rock, alternative, modern rock, new age, heavy metal, death metal, classical, jazz, ambient, 80s rock (my all-time favorite), country, and electronica. I will listen to anything but rap - I do not consider it music, I consider it noise....lol...

Rush, Depeche Mode, New Order, Electronic, Pet Shop Boys, Powermen 5000, Billy Idol, Led Zepplen, Collective Soul, Orgy, Razed In Black, Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Ozzy Osbourne, Stained, Whitesnake, Def Lepard, Our Lady Peace, Good Charlette, Rob Zombie, Single Minds, Tom Petty, Vast, Michelle Branch, Heather Nova, The Crystal Method, Junkie XL, Darude, Amand Ghost, Alabama, Restless Heart, KMFDM, Filter, Goo Goo Dolls, Foo Fighters, Bush, 4 Star Mary, U2, Eve 6, Nickleback, Deep Purple, The Outfield, Linkin Park, Creed, NIN, Marlyn Manson, Cradle of Filth, Amoris, Type O Negative, Curve, Velvet Chain, Dashboard Prophets, Loverboy, Foreigner, Channel 69, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Orbital, Better Then Ezra, Fat Boy Slim, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Angel City, Creedance CWR, Huamn League, Mike & the Mechanics, Genesis, Phil Collins, Cutting Crew, Ice House, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, The Cars, Pat Benetar, Seal, 38 Special, On, Journey, The Darkness, SR71, Puddle of Mud, The Police, Sting, Missing Persons, romeo Void, Bad English, Bruce Springsteen, Tears for Fears, and Mr. Mister...among many others...

The History or Story Behind My Site

I started this site mostly because I get contacted by people on-line always asking for pictures. I got tired of always having to send individual files to each person so now I tell anyone who asks to just "go to the website." It seems to be working pretty well and has solved a lot of the problems.

What else This Site Is About

This site will eventually also be a place to download types of music of all kinds. Music is my biggest hobbie and I own over 400 cds and probably about the same amount of cassettes. I listen to a lot of electronica and 80s rock, also everything else including heavy metal, new age, death metal, alternative, jazz, pop, some country, various soundtracks, classical, and everything in between.
